Nia is a private assistant that runs on your own computer.
It answers questions, keeps track of what is waiting on you, and can look things up in your mail, calendar and files once you connect them. The AI model runs on your own PC, so what you ask and what Nia reads stay there.
Nia is in private use. It is not open for sign-ups yet.
If you were sent here from a Google sign-in screen for an app called "Nia (local)", that screen is asking permission for Nia to read your Google account on your own computer. The privacy page says exactly what it reads and where that information stays.
What Nia asks Google for
Read-only access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Tasks. Nia can look. It cannot send, change or delete anything in your Google account.
